Details Concerning the effects of a mutation on a specific subject:
1. The name of the mutation strain has been referred to as chrysallia jaggedis.
2. The changes seen involve the crystallization of flesh and clothing, as well as some parts of the body sticking out in large, jagged spikes. 
3. Other changes that may not be visible include: merging with any apparel the subject is wearing, the subject's inside have also been crystallized, improved eyesight (most likely due to various crystals in and around the eyes refracting and bending the light that is entering the eye), as well as loss of sense of smell.
4. Subject does not seem to have experienced any emotional or psychological changes.
5. Subject has gained various abilities: being able to grow out more crystals which can then fall naturally or be broken off, subject is now able to grow in the dark, provides excellent acoustics when used as an amp or speaker, subject's crystals possess the same light-refracting properties as a prism, subject's crystals have an extremely high density, and the subject can produce sweet-tasting rock candy.
6. The subject has not experienced any significant changes in habits, the subject seems to talk slightly less than normal, but this is most likely due to his now altered voice being slightly hard to discern than normal.
7. Subject's dietary needs have altered drastically, due to both changes in taste and nutritional requirements. The subject nows claims that all normal food is revolting in taste and he now only needs to eat rocks, pure minerals, metals (such as pure iron or gold), or various types of carbon-based crystals aside from his own, such as gemstones.
8. Subject claims to have experienced little or no significant changes in his social life and/or relationships with others.
9. The mutation has not affected the subject's desire to learn, nor has it hindered the subject's ability to learn.
10.  The subject claims that the mutation will not prevent them from pursuing their plans for the future.

I heavily disagree with any statement that undermines the value of art. I for one believe that art programs are NOT a waste of taxes. And I don't just mean painting or drawing, I mean music, theater, dance, and even literature. Art is how people express themselves. To say that high schools should stop wasting their time teaching students about art and focus on teaching them about labor in the work force, is like saying there should be no fun in the world. If life was just about getting work done, well, I can't even think of a way to accurately describe how boring that would be. Art is what gives people something fun and meaningful to do.

"What Art?" Questions

1. The First model seems to be staring off into the distance. The second model seems to be more or less laid back in comparison to the first, and is also looking forward. 2. Both of these images seem to be painted by hand, if I had to guess, I'd say it was made with either oil paint or acrylic paint. 3. The colors used in the images all seem to blend together well, they give it a sort of dirty feel, due to all the browns and reds they used, but they still seem bright and they do seem to pop out. 4. I feel like the artist of the two images was trying to convey a mood of being more relaxed and laid back. If that was the case, I'd say they accomplished it in a less conventional way, in regards to the expressions on the models' faces.
